ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Permian High student was hit by a car on Dec 2 in the school parking lot after slipping while running. Officials quickly examined him and sent him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the district clarified earlier reports involving the student driver and apologized for the confusion. - ➤ Ector County health officials say a local child under 5 died on Nov. 3 from complications of Streptococcus pneumoniae infection (the county’s first pediatric case this year) and urge residents to stay up to date on pneumococcal vaccinations. NewsWest9
