Atmos Energy announced a $2 million donation to its Sharing the Warmth program to help families prepare for Thanksgiving next week and the coming winter heating season—money that will be shared through partnerships with local nonprofits and energy assistance agencies.
The funds will help eligible residents pay utility bills and upgrade homes—supporting vulnerable groups like the elderly, veterans and those facing financial hardship.

Ector County approved a $1.5 billion Drainage Improvement Master Plan to fix flooding issues—Odessa and engineering firm Halff helped develop the plan that the City Council will review next week to secure state and federal funds.
The City of Odessa announced that Faudree Road between 56th Street and P-Bar Ranch will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting November 24 due to project installations for curbs, gutters, and sidewalks.
The lane restrictions will continue through February.
