- ➤ American Legion Post 430 held a ceremony in the American Legion hall where local veterans were honored for their service and sacrifice, and families gathered to pay tribute. Mayor Cal Hendrick said Odessa and Ector County will work together—providing resources so veterans can reestablish their lives in the Permian Basin. CBS7

- ➤ Former First Alert 7 anchor Mary Kate Hamilton will be honored with a media award, with the station accepting it on her behalf at an upcoming ceremony. Hamilton joined the station in 2020 and earned a Texas Association of Broadcasters honor and an Edward R. Murrow Award — before relocating to Atlanta to continue her broadcast career. CBS7
