- ➤ UTPB enrolled over 5,600 students for fall 2025, marking a 2% rise from last year — a sign of continued growth at the university. NewsWest9
- ➤ Odessa College announced that students in Seminole can enroll in eight-week Fall 2 courses starting Tuesday, Oct. 14 — the evening classes are for working adults, recent high school graduates, and others seeking college credit. An OC representative will be available Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Seminole Center at 601 SW Ave. B — courses are held in the Auxiliary Building. CBS7

- ➤ Drone footage shows that upgrades at the City's Water Treatment Plant are in the final phase, with water production boosted from 40 to 55 million gallons a day and systems modernized for better reliability—city officials noted a renovated filter complex and updated controls.
