ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A crash on the 3300 block of Kermit Highway closed the eastbound lanes yesterday and police are investigating the incident—motorists are urged to use alternate routes.  CBS7

  • Odessa oilman Kirk Edwards and Waco economist Ray Perryman explained that Asia will see growing demand for American LNG as Japan, Korea, and India increase imports while tariffs on China reduce U.S. sales—long-term contracts and expanding markets promise a strong future for the domestic LNG industry.  Odessa American

  • The Texas Department of Transportation launched the 'Be Safe—Drive Smart' campaign on October 1 to urge drivers and pedestrians to use specific safety tips amid rising pedestrian crashes, noting that last October recorded 89 deaths, 143 injuries, and a 25% rise in incidents.
