2 at 5 p.m. to register for National Night Out, an event scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6 (aimed at strengthening local anti-drug and safety partnerships) that offers a chance for neighbors to come together.

According to the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics), Midland’s non-farm payrolls grew by 3.3% from August 2025 to August 2026, ranking the area second nationally for job gains.
Payroll increases in Midland nearly doubled Odessa’s 1.7% rise during the same period.
🏥 Health
Medical Center Hospital has been reverified as a Level II Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons, ensuring high-quality care for injured patients until August 2028.
The hospital also earned the Texas Department of State Health Services designation to further confirm its commitment to patient care.
