- ➤ Regional leaders from Midland, Odessa and officials from Ector and Midland Counties have launched the Basin Beautification Project to clean parks and roads across the Permian Basin. The project will begin on Nov. 15 with Basin Action Day + every resident, business, school and community group is invited to join in improving public safety and the local environment. NewsWest9
