- ➤ On Saturday at 10:25 p.m., a crash on Dixie Boulevard and Pool Road killed 44-year-old Marcus Gentry when his red Dodge 3500 ran a stop sign and was hit by a gray Jeep, and a passenger was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries (OPD is investigating). NewsWest9

- ➤ The Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office and Reeves County Sheriff’s Office are teaming up to find Jonathon Miller, who went missing Friday night after not meeting his scheduled appointment in Jeff Davis County — officials have found his vehicle and are using air support including a DPS helicopter to aid in the search.
