- ➤ Authorities arrested a 30-year-old Odessa man early Sunday for allegedly threatening a woman with a knife near Centergate and North Highway 385 around 7 a.m.—he is held on charges of two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evading arrest with $110,000 bail pending further proceedings. - ➤ DPS warned parents today about rising reports of minors driving golf carts and ATVs in areas such as Kent Kwik near Dorado and neighborhoods near the country clubs in Odessa, while officials stressed that these vehicles are not made for public roads+ drivers can face citations for lacking a driver's license, registration, or insurance.
