- ➤ The City of Odessa has opened new pickleball courts at McKinney Park today with bleachers and lights for community play. The courts are free on a first-come, first-served basis + available for $15 per hour rental, and a tournament for teams of two will be held on May 30. CBS7
- ➤ Local nonprofits are boosting summer meal programs — feeding around 1,000 individuals daily while offering free books, a lunch event with Jim Cummings on June 5, and a Kids Farmers Market in Odessa on June 6. CBS7
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Liberty Energy celebrated the grand opening of its new Odessa facility today. The site consolidates operations from multiple locations into one home for more than 1,400 employees with support from the Odessa Development Corporation and the Chamber’s Economic Development Team and will drive future growth in the Permian Basin.
