- ➤ State Rep Brooks Landgraf asked the Texas Education Agency to release End-of-Course exam results early for ECISD so eligible seniors can attend graduation ceremonies planned before May 23. He requested that scores be delivered by May 21—two days before the statewide release to help avoid any ceremony delays. CBS7
- ➤ ECISD welcomed 10 new Principal Fellows for the 2025–26 school year at the administration building on May 8, with Superintendent Keeley Boyer leading getting-to-know exercises and discussions with experts from the University of Texas Permian Basin. - ➤ Texas has nearly 8,900 orphan oil and gas wells left behind by companies — some leaking toxic gas and chemicals that may harm water supplies — and workers plugged one in Luling on March 27 as state and federal funds are used to manage these hazards.
