Phil King introduced Senate Bill 6 to require industrial facilities needing over 75 Megawatts to disclose energy backup details and pay fees in advance—King said this measure, which has Senate approval, will help ERCOT plan for growing energy demand and avoid future grid issues. - ➤ Ector County District Court Judge Justin Low is reviewing a lawsuit over the estate of Clyde Franklin Spencer, who died on Feb. 10 after leaving a will and living trust to Sara Spencer-Kinoti and Nathan Spencer plus the former step-daughter claims she inherited the house when she received a deed on Feb. 13 and moved in on Feb. 15. The suit filed Friday asks for a temporary restraining order to stop the defendants from selling or altering family property. Odessa American
