  • UTPB finished its spring season with a final scrimmage on Saturday at Ratliff Stadium & wrapped up five weeks of practice under head coach Chris Softley. The team will begin summer workouts soon as it prepares for the 2026 season.  NewsWest9
  • Fifteen top high school basketball seniors gathered at the OC Sports Center on Saturday for the second annual All-Star game at Odessa College. Team Flores beat Team Reese 74-63, and Midland Christian’s Brody McHugh was named Most Outstanding Player (MOP).  NewsWest9
