Trent Day, Aghorn Operations Inc. and Kodiak Roustabout Inc. entered plea deals in connection with the 2019 H₂S gas exposure death of an Odessa couple — the deals settle longstanding legal charges and end further court proceedings.

City officials plan to study the issue and may offer bulk pick-ups and education to help stop the problem.

Local health officials said an 8 year old girl died from measles complications on April 3 and her death was reported according to state rules, but vaccine critic Dr Robert Malone leaked details before her funeral—he claimed she died from sepsis due to other illnesses.

Officials added that the conflicting messages are confusing parents as local vaccination efforts continue.

The Ector County Health Department reported measles exposures during infectious periods.
