- ➤ Motorcycles stopped in Odessa on Wednesday during the Southwest American Hero Honor Ride to honor veterans and first responders. The ride, which began on April 12 in Phoenix, will end on Friday in Boerne with a motorcycle presentation. CBS7
- ➤ Permian Resources is donating $85,000 to Permian Basin Habitat for Humanity to fund a new home build in Midland from April 13 and 17, with 75 employees volunteering and marking the second consecutive year of support. CBS7

- ➤ A Citizens on Patrol volunteer rescued four cats from a burning home today when first responders arrived; volunteer Matthew Hill notified the Midland Fire Department and helped keep the felines safe. CBS7
