- ➤ Odessa’s Got Talent will host its live finals on June 7 at the Ector Theatre to raise funds for the Ector County Mission Center, with finalists announced on April 30 and auditions open online until April 21. - ➤ A deadly train collision occurred in Penwell at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday when a Union Pacific train hit a pickup truck stuck at the Ave G crossing—causing the truck to catch fire while the train did not derail. CBS7
