- ➤ On April 4th, volunteers from the Stelter Initiative held a cleanup at Hwy 158 and Intersection 1379 near Jake’s Clays, where they removed trash from a Midland homeless encampment and cleared another area south of Odessa. The volunteer group led by Keith Stelter continues to seek help with waste disposal costs — funding is needed to support future cleanups. CBS7

- ➤ An 8-year-old girl died from measles on Thursday morning in Seminole—she became the second death amid an outbreak that has infected nearly 500 Texans since January.
