- ➤ The West Texas Food Bank announced that beginning today its Odessa pantry will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month while its Midland pantry will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on the 2nd and 4th Thursday — anyone in line by noon at either location will receive food assistance. - ➤ Ector County has kicked off Child Abuse Awareness Month—local advocates are joining efforts to end child abuse. NewsWest9

- ➤ Odessa College assistant band director Jonathan Ortiz returned after a 10-year break and now works with Band Director John Carroll to lead a growing band program. He teaches music theory and conducts parts of the concert and jazz bands while reviving the drum line using his strong local ties. Odessa American
- ➤ Representatives from several departments and a current student spoke in support of the 2025 Odessa College bond during a town hall held Tuesday, where officials said the bond will help current and future students—despite local social media backlash. - ➤ The City of Odessa released six names for the city manager job and will cut the list to four on April 16 for interviews.
