GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ TxDOT has closed the westbound frontage road on IH 20 near FM 1788 today until Friday, March 27 (subject to change) for maintenance work; drivers should use detour signs and plan for delays during peak times. CBS7
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Health experts warn that long work shifts and fast food intake are raising heart disease risks, especially among men in their 30s to 50s. They urge residents to improve diets, exercise, and schedule checkups (all crucial for better heart health). CBS7
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Tuesday at the Chaparral Center, Odessa High girls outscored Midland High in the final quarter to win 57 to 41, and Midland High boys earned their first district win with a 46 to 37 victory. Both teams remain one game back from a playoff spot as rivalry matches occur Friday. NewsWest9
