- ➤ Midessa Boat, RV, Gun & Outdoor Show returns to Ector County Coliseum from Friday, Jan. 30 to Sunday, Feb. 1, with booths featuring boats, RVs, ATVs, firearms, and outdoor accessories. Tickets cost $15 per day for adults and are free for children under 10. CBS7

- ➤ Oil prices fell yesterday, with crude closing at 60.63 & Plains WTI posting 57.11 while natural gas rose to 6.800 and spreads nudged up slightly. The Jan. 26 report offered a quick snapshot of the energy market for local investors. Odessa American
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Ector County has opened an emergency warming shelter with cots, movies, food, and transportation at the county coliseum’s Barn A for residents needing warmth during winter weather. The shelter remains open until this afternoon as multiple agencies work together to support community safety. CBS7
- ➤ Odessa Police warn that slick roads remain dangerous over the next few days and advise motorists to avoid driving if possible or slow down and leave extra following distance if travel is necessary. They note that free roadside assistance through the HERO Program is available on IH-20 + Highway 191. CBS7
