- ➤ Cinergy Entertainment is expanding its Odessa location with an $11.5 million project that will add 18 holes of mini golf, seven indoor home run dugout bays, 45 arcade games, outdoor fire pits and seating. City council will review the agreement Tuesday as the project creates 50 jobs. NewsWest9

- ➤ The Sandhills Stockshow and Rodeo kicked off at the Ector County Coliseum and will run until Jan. 17. Three rodeo queens (Tova Conner, Hattie Rasberry, and Kendall McComb) appear nightly (promoting cowgirl traditions and animal care) to engage spectators. CBS7

- ➤ Legacy High student Daiwik Reddy won U.S. Rep. Pfluger’s 2025 Congressional App Challenge with his KidneyWise app (it helps patients learn about kidney transplants) for Texas’s 11th Congressional District.
